Dave's EZ Trader

User guide

Private desk. Not for sale. Practice first. Real money is a tap after the light is yellow or green. Past tests are not a promise of profit.

  1. 1. Sign in

    Dave added you. Sign in. Do not Create a second desk.

    • Tap the invite link in Dave’s email. That link sets your account. Do not type www.daveztrader.com for the first sign-in.
    • Email = the Gmail on that invite. The box starts empty unless the invite filled it. Do not use Dave’s email.
    • First time on a phone: green button must say Save password. Do not tap the small Sign in link first. Bot username daveseztraderbot: after v1.8.84 the invite signs in. v1.8.85 shows Scan, hive receive, 8 paper PCs, stop/target on each setup. Refine and Arm Public stay off.
    • Later you can open www.daveztrader.com — if the bar then shows eztrader.grok.me, that is the same desk.
    • Account (bottom right) can change that password later. Next on the first-login screen also saves if you typed a new password.

  2. 2. Paper first

    Practice on. Real money off. Do not Reset paper.

    • Turn Practice on. That is fake money on this phone, not your Public cash.
    • Computers: 8 (or 3 if crypto). Live max 2 names (max 2 live). Practice can still take 15m–1h while those 2 live slots are full.
    • Leave Real money off. There is no Mode button. Lab / bot: Broker is Public.com or Coinbase (IB soon). Bot leaves Arm live off — Send to Coinbase on a ticket is one order. Coinbase does not paint the Public gauge.
    • Do not tap Reset paper.
    • After Real money is on, you can close the phone. Keep going turns on by itself. Real money never turns on by itself.

  3. 3. Gauge

    This is the light at the top. Yellow = small. Green = ready. Real money is a tap.

    • Yellow = 80 tests · 0.25R on one system. Size stays small.
    • Green = 100 · 0.25R same system.
    • 15m paper never counts for the gauge or for live.
    • When a pattern and a gap/news on the same name agree, that setup is preferred. It does not start a second score.

  4. 4. Live later

    Never email the Public API secret. Real money on = real Public orders.

    • Practice works without Public.com.
    • public.com/signup → Settings → Security → API. Copy the secret once.
    • Paste it under Your broker → Connect.
    • Real money on (never automatic). Arm live is the only live switch.
    • Every live name keeps a ticket. Stop on the Live row is only what Public.com actually has. If it says Stop NOT on Public, there is no broker stop yet. Public often cannot rest a stop and a take-profit on the same shares — Public sells at the stop; the desk sells when the 1h bar *closes* through the target (not a wick). Fractional leftover stock is not sold.
    • If Real money is on and Public is connected, leaving the app turns Keep going on by itself.

  5. 5. Stuck

    If Update is green, tap it. Live tickets stay open.

    • Update if the button is green. Live Public tickets stay open.
    • Public idle → Connect.

    • If the bar shows eztrader.grok.me after www, that is the desk — same app. Safari and Chrome on iPhone and Android.
    • iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen. Android: Install.
